The 3 LNB DIRECTV Satellite dish antenna delivers HD programming to homes and businesses across the country. This kit allows you to build and install a DIRECTV satellite dish for reception of satellites 99°, 101°, and 103° satellites. This installation is great for do-it-yourselfers, and professional installers for residential and commercial installations. It provides a single coax output which feeds up to eight tuners, through the use of a SWM Splitter

Recommended Tools

  • 7/16″ Nut driver
  • Adjustable Wrench
  • Screwdriver (Phillips)
  • Electric Drill and Bit
  • Magnetic Compass
  • Caulk
  • RG6 Coax with Solid Copper Conductor
  • Signal Meter

Helpful tips:

  • Verifying the bubble level frame is seated properly in the mast – this is a common cause for mis-allignment
  • Make sure there are no obstructions (trees, buildings, windows, corner or overhang of your roof, your body or your hands)
  • Remove existing TV components from previous cable TV or older satellite installations (TV antenna installations such as amplifiers, splitters, etc.)
  • Use solid copper RG6 Coax cable and keep cable runs under 125ft or use a signal amplifier
  • Make sure all cable connections are installed correct and are tightened securely
